Bella seeks solace in her relationship with her close friend, Jacob, who is now stronger and bigger than ever before. Together, they begin to see each other through new eyes. Bella's frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own. When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger.
Edward convinces Bella that he doesn't want her anymore, and he and his family depart from Forks in an attempt to keep her safe.
Jacob and his pack protect Bella from the vampire Laurent and also Victoria, who seeks revenge for her dead mate, James, whom the Cullens killed in Twilight. Jacob gives it a twist and readers will start to think that maybe, Bella is more happier with Jacob in this New Moon second part of the saga Twilight.
